The Dine Out Project
Raye And Bill Seek Out The Best FoodFinding the best Food, One Meal at a Time
We’ve always enjoyed dining out, and when we find someplace that has it ‘all’; great food, terrific (and friendly) service, and the ever intangible ‘good vibe’, we make it our own. This Dine Out Project was born from reading novels about a couple of LA detectives, one private, one a cop. The Elvis Cole and Joe Pike series led us to Musso and Franks Grill on a trip to LA in 2017, where our waiter Erick told us to read the Harry Bosch series. When reading the Harry Bosch books, Bill began taking notes of the food trucks, diners and restaurants Harry frequented, soon we had a list of almost 20 spots we wanted to sample. So over Labor Day weekend in 2019 off to LA we go for the “Harry Bosch Food Tour”. We’re anxious to see what the future offers!
Juno Beach FL Is Home
As much as we love to travel (and EAT!),

Philippe The Original
September 2, 2019 Harry Bosch met Mickey Haller here in the Lincoln Lawyer. Philippe's is the real deal, been here 110 years and still going strong. We were told that before a Dodgers home game (Dodger Stadium is just over a mile away) expect to see a sea of Dodger...
Perry’s Cafe – Santa Monica Beach
September 2, 2019 Perry's Beach Cafe on Santa Monica Beach was another stop not on the official Harry Bosch Tour, but was highly recommended by our son Patrick. Terrific beach vibe, it is literally ON the beach, fast service, awesome food and coffee. Bill ordered the...
